Welcoming new members to the NZICC Sales Team

The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) has appointed two Sales Managers - Brooke Campbell from Melbourne and Kenneth Pereira from Wellington, to join the growing team.
 
 



Brooke Campbell (nee Doughty) comes from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, where her key focus has been on exhibitions and associations business. She joins the NZICC team as Sales Manager – Australia on 13 September 2017.

Kenneth Pereira has 11 years’ experience in New Zealand’s Meetings, Incentive, Conventions and Exhibitions industry, and joins the NZICC team as Sales Manager – International, mid-October.

Both Brooke and Ken will work closely with the NZICC's key partners Tourism New Zealand and Auckland Convention Bureau in securing and bidding for international business events. 

Prue Rogers, NZICC Director of Sales says she is thrilled with the appointments.

These key sales role being appointed will help elevate the NZICC on the global stage and keep pushing New Zealand forward as a competitive destination.  We are excited about our business growth, and having top talent to help secure the leads for Auckland,” she says.

Brooke will be based in Melbourne, in order to best support event planners and the NZICC's business development in Australia. 

Brooke says: "Already I am hearing about the appetite from the Australian market for business events in Auckland, and as my husband is from New Zealand he is thrilled we will be getting more time back with friends and family. I am personally excited to spend more time in Auckland and then being able to showcase it to our Australian clients” 

Ken says “It’s a pleasure to be part of the strong New Zealand contingent that represent New Zealand, Auckland and the NZICC on the global stage. I look forward to working with and supporting our local individuals and organisations who are the ones bringing such great events to New Zealand.
