Tracey Jay joins the NZICC as Event Planning Manager
The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tracey Jay to the key role of Event Planning Manager.
Tracey joins the NZICC team this week and will be responsible for growing and leading the future NZICC planning team to ensure they are consistently delivering world class service to clients.
Tracey Jay says:
“I’m so excited to be returning to the hospitality and tourism industry after a few years of diversification and the opportunity to be part of growing the business events industry for Auckland and New Zealand is something really special. I look forward to working with clients to ensure we are offering seamless and quality event planning to deliver on their needs.”
Tracey has more than 20 years’ experience in event management, business management, tour production and project management, which included several roles for Staging Connections (now Encore Event Technologies) where she was last promoted to General Manager – New Zealand and Fiji for four years. Prior to this she also worked as a Project Manager at JFC Management in London where she managed the live performances of international music act The Prodigy.

In her personal time Tracey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fabulous food, even more fabulous wine, music, hiking and yoga. She’ll also bring another international accent to the NZICC team; while Tracey has been in New Zealand for over 18 years, her Scottish accent remains strong.
