At the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), we know that delivering exceptional events takes more than just a great venue – it takes a team you can trust.

Our Operations Team is led by Ian Love, whose 30-year career spans the Sydney Olympics and major venues across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Canada, and the Middle East. Alongside Senior Operations Manager Kai Zhao – a hospitality leader with solid experience in venue operations and openings – and Operations Managers Belinda Leota, Carlos Delgado and Carey Macfie, the team brings expertise across arenas, hotels, convention centres and more. Technology Manager, Ryan Göllner, rounds out the team with 15 years of international event technology experience, including a notable stint with the Oscars, and nearly 500 IMDB credits in post-production.

Collectively, this standout team of six have delivered everything from international conferences and arena-scale events, to award-nominated dining experiences, and high-volume logistics. But what truly sets them apart is their shared passion for creating seamless, memorable experiences for every guest.
