What organisers need to know, all in one place.
We will be open from February 2026.
We are located at 101 Hobson Street, Auckland Central. The building sits between Hobson Street and Nelson Street. Ariki Hall is located on Level 3, Hobson Street ground level, and Te Paepae Theatre is located on Level 5, accessible via escalator and lifts.
Location:
NZICC’s street address is 101 Hobson Street, with entrances on both Hobson Street and Nelson Street, as well as access through the overbridge from SkyCity and the Horizon Hotel.
The best place to drop off passengers by car is Federal Street, which is a short walk across Hobson Street to the venue.
Carpark:
Our carpark is located underneath the venue with the entrance located at 46 Nelson Street. There are 1,327 parking spaces on site and exits available on both Hobson Street and Nelson Street.
Information to note:
While there is ample parking space, there may be occasions where availability is limited due to multiple events or large conferences. Our car park directly connects through to the SkyCity car park for additional parking.
Public Transport:
If you’re travelling by public transport, we are just a 20-minute walk from Britomart Transport Centre, Waitematā Train Station, and Downtown Ferry Terminals. Learn more about public transport options here.
And in 2026, the new Te Waihorotiu City Rail Link Station is set to open, with entrances on Victoria Street and Wellesley Street, just a short walk from our venue.
Sometimes roadworks and motorway closures take place in the late evening. We suggest you check the NZ Transport Agency's and Auckland Transport's list of motorway closures before your visit to plan your trip.
Yes. We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the entire venue.
Our building features full Wi-Fi 6E/7 connectivity throughout - making it one of the first in New Zealand to offer this advanced standard. It’s designed to support 2.5 devices per person, with a total building capacity of 8,000 people, meaning it can handle up to 20,000 connected devices simultaneously. The entire network infrastructure and bandwidth are built to eSports-level standards, ensuring ultra-fast, reliable, and low-latency performance for every user.
Each event floor Level 1, Level 3, and Level 5 - are equipped with male, female, all-gender and accessible restrooms for your convenience.
There is one space for an OB truck to be parked in the dock on Level 1. Please speak to your event planner for further information.
We are committed to being an accessible venue for all visitors.
