Conditions of Entry

New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) is dedicated to providing a safe and secure venue for all attendees. By entering the venue, attendees agree to the following conditions of entry. NZICC may change these conditions from time to time and will provide notice of any changes on its website. 

Access 

  • The venue is generally open to the public during weekdays and certain weekends 
  • At certain times venue access will be restricted to invited guests or ticketholders only 

Behaviour and etiquette 

  • Unruly or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated – this includes, but is not limited to:
    • verbal/physical abuse of attendees or staff
    • obscene, racist or threatening remarks or behaviour
    • sexual misconduct
    • attempting to enter a restricted area
    • climbing, defacing, littering the venue or throwing objects
    • blocking thoroughfares or fire exits 
  • No person may solicit, display, attempt to sell or distribute any goods or advertising, promotional or political materials (or similar) to any other person at the venue 
  • Use of smartphones or other devices must not cause distraction or annoyance to others 
  • Aisles and walkways must remain clear and unobstructed 
  • Standing on seats and sitting on the shoulders of others is not permitted 

Clothing 

  • A neat and tidy standard of dress is required at all times 
  • Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times 
  • No offensive slogans, gang patches, flags or insignia are to be worn 
  • Certain items of headwear may be prohibited 

Drinking, drugs and smoking 

  • All alcohol at the venue will be supplied by NZICC 
  • All alcohol supplied by NZICC may only be consumed at the venue 
  • No person may bring alcohol into or remove alcohol from the venue 
  • Only attendees of a legal drinking age will be supplied alcohol at the venue and attendees may be asked to show valid age identification – A valid passport, New Zealand Driver Licence or Kiwi Access/HANZ/Hospitality NZ 18+ card are the only accepted forms of age identification that will be accepted by NZICC 
  • Intoxicated attendees will not be supplied alcohol, will be refused entry to the venue and will be either asked to leave the venue or taken to a place of safety 
  • Smoking, vaping or any analogous activity is prohibited in all areas 
  • No drugs or other illegal substances are permitted in the venue 

Photography and filming 

  • No unauthorised photography or filming is allowed in the venue, including the use of:
    • Professional cameras (those with detachable lenses or telephoto lenses)
    • Audio/visual recording devices
    • Selfie sticks, monopods or tripods
    • Drones or other remote-controlled devices
    • Broadcasting or transmission equipment 

Prohibited items 

  • Prohibited items at the venue include but are not limited to:
    • Food and drink not supplied by NZICC (unless for medical reasons or as otherwise permitted by NZICC)
    • Chewing gum
    • Alcohol and illegal or illicit substances
    • Bottles of any kind (cans, glass, plastic) unless expressly permitted by NZICC
    • Guns, weapons, knives or other sharp items
    • Lasers and laser pointers
    • Marker pens, spray paint, and tagging equipment
    • Fireworks or flares
    • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards or skates
    • Horns, trumpets, sirens or other noise-making devices
    • Large umbrellas or items which may obstruct the view of others
    • Banners, posters or signs
    • Chilly bins or other hard-cased cooler bags
    • Animals, other than registered and identified service animals
    • Motorbike helmets, costume masks, full face masks or any other face coverings (including but not limited to balaclavas and bandanas) deemed inappropriate by NZICC 

Safety and security 

  • No entry is permitted to restricted areas without appropriate accreditation or approval 
  • The venue and surrounds are monitored by CCTV cameras and by entering the venue attendees consent to being filmed by CCTV – all personal information collected is held in accordance with NZICC’s Privacy Policy
  • Bag checks may be performed and items deemed unsafe or inappropriate will be removed 
  • Bags must not be left unattended at any times and any unattended bags may be removed 
  • Attendees must inform security if they are carrying injectable medication such as epi-pens 

Live events 

  • On arrival general admission tickets may be exchanged for a wristband 
  • Late entrants may not be admitted unless or until there is a suitable break in the event 
  • Concession ticket holders may be asked for identification to justify the concession 
  • Attendees with specified seats must occupy the seat stated on their ticket 
  • For some events there will be a requirement for all drinks to be decanted 
  • Moshing, crowd surfing or any other activities that may cause injury or harm to any person or to property is prohibited 

Important notice 

Attendees enter the venue at their own risk. To the greatest extent permitted by law, NZICC has no liability whatsoever for any damaged, lost or stolen property, nor for any other loss, damage or injury suffered by any attendee, whether in contract, tort or statutory liability. 

NZICC reserves the right to refuse entry or to revoke an attendee’s right to remain in the venue if any of these conditions of entry are breached.  Any attendee that is removed from the venue when attending a paid event will not be entitled to any refund. 

 

Website Terms and Conditions

Your use of this website (“Site”) and all goods, services and/or facilities available through the Site are governed by these Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using the Site, you unconditionally agree and accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

New Zealand International Convention Centre Limited (“NZICC”) reserves the right to vary any information on the Site, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time without notice.

Access

NZICC may terminate or suspend your use of the Site at any time.

Links to other websites

The Site may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties. NZICC does not monitor or investigate such websites and accepts no responsibility or liability in relation to any content on such websites. Your linking to any other website is at your own risk.

Hypertext linking

Under no circumstances are you permitted to create a hyperlink to any of the pages on the Site, unless you have obtained NZICC’s prior written consent to do so. If you do create a link to any of the pages on the Site, you acknowledge that you are responsible for all direct and indirect consequences of such link and indemnify NZICC for all loss, damage, liability, costs or expense arising from or in connection with such link.

Floor plans

Both downloadable and interactive floor plans are based off current designs and are subject to modification.

Fees

You may incur charges from your internet service provider for accessing and using the Site.

Jurisdiction

You warrant that, when accessing the Site, you comply with all local laws, regulations and requirements.

Where any statute or other law implies any term into your use of or any arrangement arising out of the accessing of the Site and that statute or other law prohibits exclusion of that term, then that term is included.

The distribution of information contained on the Site may be restricted by law in some countries. The information does not constitute an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction in which such an offer or solicitation is not authorised or to whom it is unlawful to make such an offer or solicitation.

The Site is governed by New Zealand law. Each person accessing, or using the services available on or through the Site submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

The information contained on the Site is provided for information purposes only. Whilst NZICC endeavours to ensure that all content and material on the Site is free from any errors, NZICC does not warrant its accuracy, adequacy or completeness or that it is suitable for your intended use. In no event will NZICC be responsible for any loss or damage of whatever kind arising from your access to, use of or reliance on any information made available through the Site or any hyperlink to any website or any information contained or accessed through the Site.

Your use of the Site is at your own risk. You agree that NZICC is not responsible for any damage or harm arising out of your use of the Site. You also agree that all warranties, conditions and representations in respect of the Site (whether express or implied) are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. None of NZICC, any of its employees or agents, or any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the Site, is liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages, which are excluded to fullest extent permitted by law, arising out of your access to, or use of or inability to use, the Site.

Limitation of liability

If, for any reason, NZICC is held responsible for any damage or harm arising out of your use of the Site, in no event will NZICC’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of actions (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Site.

Intellectual property rights

As between you and NZICC, NZICC owns or has a licence for all copyrights, database rights and all similar rights for the Site and all trademarks and other materials used on the Site. The information may not be reproduced (except in hard copy for your personal reference only), distributed, transmitted to any person or incorporated into any other document without NZICC’s prior written consent. You will not in any circumstances obtain any rights over or in respect of the Site (other than rights to use the Site pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions governing a particular service or section of the Site) or hold yourself out as having any such rights over or in respect of the Site.

All Inclusive Day Delegate Package terms and conditions

  • Price of $115 per person applicable to events held on or before 30 June 2026.
  • This package is available for bookings of 20 to 130 guests.
  • All Audio-Visual (AV) services are exclusively provided by NW Group.
  • Bookings and services are subject to availability.
  • Breakout rooms are available upon request. Room hire rates will apply.
  • Further AV requirements beyond the standard package may incur additional charges.
  • Availability of a microphone and lectern is subject to room allocation.
  • Any additional requirements beyond the standard package may incur extra charges.
